A motorcyclist was air-lifted to hospital after a collide on the A38 at Biddisham on Friday afternoon (June 18th).
Police and ambulance crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to the scene at 1.25pm and found the man had suffered leg injury, which were serious sufficient for him to be air-lifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The collision occurred along a fast-moving elongate of the A38 and involved a Ford Fiesta.
A man was taken to hospital via an air ambulance following a road traffic mishap between a car and a motorbike, police orator Claire Stanley told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The road was closed for some hours, leading to a build-up of extended queues of traffic in both directions.
Police appealed for witnesses to the crash to contact them on 0845 456 7000.
