Chrysler recalls 33,000 vehicles in Canada

Chrysler Canada is recall 29,000 Jeep Wranglers with 2007 to 2010 model years and 4,000 minivans in Canada over protection concerns, the automaker announced Monday morning.

It's part of an enormous safety recall affecting nearly 700,000 vehicles worldwide.

The Jeep Wranglers are being recalled due to a possible brake fluid leak. According to a declaration from Chrysler, Wrangler brake lines could stroke against the inner-fender well lining, leading to fluid loss that affects braking recital.

In the 2008-09 Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans a wiring harness could massage against the power-sliding side door causing a small circuit that leads over overheating of the door latch, and in a few cases fire.

Chrysler says it is not conscious of any accidents or injuries related to the defects.

The company says it will inspect all potentially pretentious vehicles and repair or replace damaged parts if necessary. There will be no price to the vehicle owner.
