Man still in hospital following Dalton car accident


A MAN who was fatally injured in a car crash was still in hospital last night. A Mazda MX-6 collided with a Citroen C3 in Mill Brow, Dalton, at have lunch time on Monday.

The Mazda driver, a 30-year-old man from Hexham, was cut gratis from the car by firefighters. Police said previous night he was still in Furness General Hospital.

The Citroen was being driven by a 42-year-old Dalton lady and she had three children in the car.

They were also taken to FGH but went house the same day, police said.
